A global perspective: colonisation and industrialisation; globalisation, global warming and bio-diversity.
Design of environmental policy: environment as an economic and social asset; voluntary, command and control, and incentive based programmes; pressure groups.
Environmental policies in industrialised countries.
Developing countries, poverty and the environment.International environmental protection.
This seminar corresponds to level C1 of the Common European Framework.
