In general, skills specific to the degree programme will be tested, along with your abilities/your motivation. The EFV may include tasks which provide insight into your logical-analytical thinking, skills in graphic/visual expression, spatial perception and the ability to develop creative solution strategies.

4.Is it permitted to use a computer for the homework?

Yes, in principle. However, a task which has been completed with the aid of a computer program (e.g. graphics creation, illustration, image processing) will not receive extra points in the evaluation compared with manual solutions. It is not your software knowledge which is being tested, but your individual ability to express yourself and your creative approach to problem-solving.

6.Can I ask in the faculty office if there is something I don’t understand about the homework tasks?

No.You must work through the tasks by yourself, without help from anyone else. You confirm this in the package of tasks with an appropriate declaration and your signature. The tasks are precisely formulated.Read everything through carefully, then many of your questions will be answered.
